We value the voices of young people, recognising that their lived experiences, identities, and ideas are essential in shaping a more just and inclusive society.
At the Inspire Now! BAME Annual Conference, we create a space where young people can explore who they are, speak their truth, and step into their power. Through discussion, creative expression, and peer connection, they gain the confidence to lead — not in the future, but now. We foster leadership, community, and courage in a supportive environment where young people feel heard, seen, and celebrated.
By amplifying their voices, we empower them to challenge inequality, embrace their
potential, and make meaningful change in the world around them. This is more than a
conference — it’s a safe space, a launchpad, and a celebration of identity. It is where
young people come to connect with others who understand their journey, and to discover
that their voice can be a powerful tool for transformation. Through storytelling, shared
experiences, and collective vision, young people at Inspire Now! inspire awareness, build
solidarity, and become agents of social change.
“Inspire Now! has changed me as a person. I’ve never felt this confident in my voice before.”
“I’ve genuinely never clicked with a group of people like this. It was like finding a second family.“
“Being part of this space reminded me that I’m not alone. I belong — and I matter.”
“This is more than an event. It’s my safe space. It gave me the courage to speak up, be myself and I Love it!.”

When everything feels uncertain, a youth worker can be the reason a young person chooses to rise instead of give up.
For many BAME young people, life isn’t easy. They’re navigating challenges that can feel overwhelming — isolation, discrimination, mental health struggles, and uncertainty about the future.

“I’ve learned so much about myself here. I feel more confident, more focused, and like I actually have something important to say. Before coming to Diverse Youth NI, I didn’t know how to speak up or be myself. Now, I feel proud of who I am — and I know my voice matters.”

Our team is dedicated to helping every young person discover their strengths — whether they’re performing on stage, leading a campaign, or reaching a new milestone in school. Through creative arts, education support, and social action, we offer a safe space where young people can express themselves, make friends, and have fun — all while learning new skills and discovering their potential.
