Support the Future of Inclusive Youth Leadership

Fundraising plays a vital role in helping Diverse Youth NI continue its mission to support young people from Black, Asian, Minority Ethnic, newcomer, asylum seeker, and refugee communities across Northern Ireland. Every contribution, partnership, and act of generosity helps us create safe spaces where young people can thrive, discover their strengths, and feel a genuine sense of belonging.

Your support makes it possible for us to deliver programmes that change lives, from leadership development and cultural enrichment sessions to mental wellbeing support, training pathways, and community events.

Why Your Support Matters

Northern Ireland is becoming increasingly diverse, yet many young people from minority ethnic and newcomer backgrounds still face barriers to belonging, participation, and equal opportunity. Funding allows us to:

  • Provide free programmes so no one is excluded
  • Deliver culturally inclusive youth work that reflects lived realities
  • Offer leadership training, awards, and mentorship
  • Support mental wellbeing and build resilience
  • Run trips, residentials, conferences, and international exchanges
  • Amplify youth voices in policy spaces
  • Develop creative and storytelling platforms
  • Promote community cohesion and good relations

Your support helps ensure every young person has access to opportunities that may otherwise be out of reach.

Ways You Can Support Us

One-Off Donations

Every contribution, no matter how small, helps us deliver meaningful activities for our young people. Donations directly support programmes, resources, and youth leadership opportunities.

Monthly Giving

Becoming a monthly supporter strengthens our sustainability and helps us plan long term. Regular contributions allow us to expand programmes and reach more young people throughout the year.

Community Fundraising

Schools, youth groups, workplaces, and individuals can organise fundraising events such as charity walks, cultural nights, creative exhibitions, bake sales, or team challenges. We are happy to support your idea.

Corporate Partnerships

We welcome partnerships with businesses and organisations committed to inclusion, equality, and youth development. Support can include sponsorships, joint initiatives, staff fundraising, or volunteering.

Grant and Trust Support

We work closely with trusts, foundations, and funders who share our mission of empowering young people. Funders help us scale our programmes, pilot new initiatives, and strengthen organisational capacity.

In-Kind Support

Organisations and individuals can donate venues, equipment, catering, creative resources, or professional services that directly enhance our youth programmes.
